This powerful workshop exposes Canadian history through visual and experiential learning techniques influencing comprehension from a mind, body, and spiritual approach rather than an intellectual approach, which often minimizes the effects. This is a great preamble to any of the personal development workshops.
Cultural Safety, Cultural Competency, and Cultural Awareness are all the current buzz. However, many of us are unsure of how this is reflected or implemented in our work. This session will give an overview of History, Colonization, and Residential Schools to set the tone for “now what”. Discussion and experiential exercises were presented to recognize our limitations, biases, and barriers to implementing transformation with an expanded knowledge base. Moving forward requires each of us to be personally responsible for our perceptions and actions.
This is an informative and interactive workshop that focuses on personal development and transformation, covering a variety of topics such as personal motivation, dealing with the past, coping with unresolved grief and loss, self-awareness, survival patterns, recognizing unhealthy responses, learning healthy responses, applying new approaches to responding to situations, envisioning future goals and aspirations. Mother Earth Whispers presents “Our Sacred Journey -5 days to freedom” Workshop. The opportunity offers a holistic model of transformation utilizing a contemporary approach to a program designed based on traditional healing methods.
As we continue to heal ourselves, the natural ripples create healing for mother earth, the universe, and all within.
This workshop will have a series of topics presented that offer gifts unique to the specific participants, including the time and opportunity to participate in experiential learning with each topic. Enhancing the wisdom of women inherently present empowers women, including older women, to present topics about traditional teachings of our roles in society as mothers, women, partners, and elders, including traditions, ceremonies, and celebrations and the importance of incorporating the cultural teachings into our current modern lives, to continue the integrity, spirit, and wisdom of our ancestors. Further tapping into specific spiritual connections, intuition, and energy and awakening spiritual awareness. Moreover, it is our belief that by clearing these gateways, the connections are easily made when we address our own healing. By exploring our internal processes, reactions, and responses, we are then more available to ourselves and can remain open to our universal connection, guidance, and wisdom.

This 2-day workshop is designed to inspire and empower participants to reconnect to their inner selves. Many participants require rejuvenation and support while supporting others at work, in the family, or in the community. A quick refresher for those who have participated in past workshops, revisiting successes and continuing to move forward or individually designed for where the groups are at in terms of emotional development. A great prelude to the couple’s workshop!
As healers, each one of us is giving of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When we do not take the time to replenish, rejuvenate, and revive ourselves, the work we put out daily begins to take a toll on all parts of ourselves. Noticeably showing up as vicarious trauma, including diseases, chronic illness, emotional and mental health challenges, mood disorders, increased illness, etc., often to others, even if not to ourselves, affecting not only us as individuals but us as caregivers, family members, co-workers, and our efficacy as healers in the workplace. Therefore, it is vitally important to do our own healing work, walk the talk, and take care of number one first and foremost before we can effectively support others on their healing journeys. This 5-day journey begins with an intensive personal development tune-up, exploring our own histories, examining where we are currently in our life and work, and recognizing the self-imposed limitations we indulge in without conscious awareness. Furthermore, the 5-day journey will allow us to recognize how to shift the decisions we make that do not serve us very well and open our awareness to new insight, inspiration, and intention beyond our limited beliefs while providing tools, holistic experiential learning, and opportunities to enhance each individual’s diverse skills. Respecting a professional's past experiences by nurturing, challenging, supporting, and stimulating to rekindle an accurate view of themselves as a priority and revive the strengths within.
This style workshop will have a series of topics presented that offer gifts unique to the specific participants, including the time and opportunity to participate in experiential learning with each topic. A deeper approach to the 2-day workshops.
